I wish parents would stop trying to be both mother and father and just be the best mother OR father they can. We'd all be better off for it. I can't stress how much I agree with you! My mother has always said "I'm only one person, I can only be the best I can be," and I think that's just so wise and sensible. And it really worked for us too <3
